Jane began using her gifts in holistic bodywork when she became certified as a Reflexologist in 2003. In November 2004, Jane became licensed by the State of Rhode Island as a Massage Therapist, and has completed additional training in Sacred Stone Massage which utilizes heated stones to facilitate a more "grounded" feeling, and penetrating heat to relax muscles.

Since becoming a holistic practitioner, Jane has mastered techniques with her HOT STONES MASSAGE THERAPY, has become an advanced REFLEXOLOGY practitioner, and has deepened her ability to help others experience healing through quieting the mind and listening to the body . In addition, after a trip to a HAMMAM in Casablanca, Morocco, she developed a unique facial cleansing and massage technique, "Hammam for the Face", which is only available at Sole Awakenings. SPA TREATMENTS are the latest addition to treatment offerings.

Jane is dedicated to education, growth, and love, which enhances her ability to help others achieve balance and a state of well-being. She has participated in numerous health fairs and educational opportunities to help people understand that massage therapy is a preventive way of STAYING HEALTHY. You do not need to be injured to get a massage. Since stress is the precursor and contributor to many illnesses and injuries, and massage is a proven stress reliever, it is okay (even recommended) to come in for a massage to stay feeling good and enhance your vibrancy!

She is insured and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (A.M.T.A.), a nationally recognized standard bearer for Massage Therapists in the U.S. She is also a member of the Rhode Island Crisis Massage Team, which is activated to provide massage to "first responders" and other deployed personnel during emergency situations within the State of Rhode Island. In addition, she is a member of the Rhode Island Holistic Healers Association, a network of healing practitioners offering a range of complimentary and alternative therapies to the community.
